Civic
Designing inclusive systems of engagement that serve the public and inform long term policy solutions.
Our civic work centers on building trust between communities, developers, and municipalities through transparent, creative engagement. From shaping waterfront policy to reimagining public streets, we help civic partners design processes that invite participation and generate long-term value for residents and neighborhoods alike.
Recent collaborations include supporting the City of Boston’s Open Newbury Street, transforming a mile-long retail corridor into a pedestrian hub for sixteen consecutive Sundays, activating community engagement for Massport’s 42-acre Pappas Commerce Center redevelopment, partnering with the Town of Brookline to transform a portion of the Centre Street East Lot into a temporary parklet in Coolidge Corner and contributing to the Waterfront Civic and Cultural Space Study alongside the Boston Planning & Development Agency and Boston Arts & Culture, offering frameworks to ensure new development prioritizes civic access, cultural vitality, and equitable opportunities for local organizations.
