PUBLIC REALM / CULTURAL PROGRAMMING
Artist curation and management
Social content curation
We started our work at Bulfinch Crossing at its earliest stages of development to help start to shift perceptions from its current condition and to improve the pedestrian experience throughout the site. This work needed to inform both commuters and future tenants alike understand what the future of the site holds.
Our goal in our first phase of work was to bring color, life, and brightness to enhance the otherwise dark and dismal atmosphere that commuters faced on a daily basis.
As one of the biggest developments located in the core of Boston, Bulfinch Crossing’s completion will completely change the surrounding neighborhood. However, the change is so drastic from the current conditions that it is difficult for the general public to comprehend what is to come.
In the first phase of work with Bulfinch Crossing, Isenberg Projects focused on improving the ground floor experience. By working with local visual and installation artists, the IP team brought color and life to the site around the Government Center Garage through a variety of artist treatments.
