Universities have a unique opportunity to extend their impact beyond the classroom, into the neighborhoods they inhabit. We help academic institutions activate underutilized spaces and strengthen connections between students, faculty, and surrounding communities through art, storytelling, and creative engagement.

Our long-term collaboration with Harvard in Allston began as a strategic exercise to enliven an industrial corridor. Alongside a coalition of neighborhood partners, it has evolved into Zone 3, an award winning placemaking initiative that supports the local arts economy through creative dialog and experimentation. Through public art, pop-up programs, and digital storytelling, Zone 3 has become a model for how universities can invest in inclusive, community-driven spaces that celebrate curiosity, creativity, and connection.
